“In this all female team, we created an editorial to bring the rise of Egyptian women in fashion to attention. The fashion industry in Egypt has long been something that was never explored fully. In the past few years we have seen a true revival and rise of the fashion industry within the country and its people, whether they are in their hometown or living across globe. Subtle (or not) hints at culture have been very prominent in this scene, which is why we chose to take our audience into a local flat in the city of Cairo and show the small details which all come together to create a realistic representation of the new youth of the Egyptian fashion scene. Sheer clothing used to break barriers of the norm.”
